Hank is an open source Batch-Updateable Read-Only Key/Value Distributed Database. Hank is designed to run on clusters of heterogeneous commodity machines and interacts readily with Hadoop and Cascading. This video covers how it differs from other distributed database options, how Rapleaf uses it and briefly discusses the architecture of the system.
