How do we utilize and big data and often open data in an easy and useful way. We have three speakers who have taken different approaches to data visualization. Moving from data to insight to action is the first talk. Gamification of open data is the second talk. Fun and Engaging Enterprise Web App Design using Touch Conventions and Infographics is the third.
This short talk will discuss and demonstrate a working example of how conventions from touch based games and modern infographic design can be used to build radically new user interfaces, that engage the user by introducing a sense of play to enterprise web applications.
